Someone in the Journal of the Oughtred Society referred to Unique rules as "cheap and friendly", in the same class as the lawrence engineering rules. i'm not sure i agree. while i can see that this isn't a fantastically well-made rule, it seems nice enough, as simple rules go. Those brits. Sure wish i knew how to use this rule. Probably performs a small subset of the functions of the Pickett N515-T, but you didn't have to go to Cleveland to get one. The body of the rule seems to be made of the same sort of wood as the load adjuster military rules.
